f a game that left the midfielder devastated ... frustrated and flat.It will burn
After a thrilling day of initial group matches between eight elite Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams, the DreamHack Winter action continued Friday as the tournament took its next step toward crowning a $50,000 winner. With GODSENT and Renegades already through to the semifinals by way of coming out of their groups as the first seed, the remaining six teams battled it out for the final two spots in the semifinals. After four best-of-three series, Team Kinguin and Gambit Gaming came out victorious. With four dark horse teams in the playoffs, it is basically anyones tournament to win.Team Kinguin earns victory in Group AIn what has continued to be a tournament of upsets, the reigning Epicenter winners, Team Dignitas, were felled in the Group A losers match against FlipSid3 Tactics. While FlipSid3 is a team that has been gaining some ground in the Counter-Strike scene of late, Team Dignitas is widely considered to be a top-10, if not top-five team. For the mostly-Danish squad to get taken out by a team that has struggled in recent months is a bit surprising. It wasnt a blowout by any means, as both of FlipSid3s wins went 30 rounds while Dignitas win went 29. The close win moved FlipSid3 on to the Group A decider to take on Team Kinguin. The momentum did not help FlipSid3 in its next matchup, however, as Kinguin got off to a nice start in the decider series, jumping out to an early 6-2 lead. But FlipSid3 wasnt going to let things get away that easily. It would storm all the way back to force overtime and eventually take the first map 19-16. Game 2 switched over to Overpass and saw FlipSid3 get off to a 9-6 lead at the half only for Kinguin to march right back. Miko?aj mouz Karolewski kicked it into high gear and helped Kinguin bounce back with a 10-4 second half to take the map 16-13. Mouz finished with a kills/deaths count (K/D) of 23/18 and a game-high 94.3 average damage per round (ADR). The teams would move to Mirage for the final game where FlipSid3 got off to a quick 6-1 start before its wheels completely came off. Kinguin, behind a stellar game from Micha? MICHU Müller, won 15 straight rounds to take the map and the series, moving on to face Renegades in semifinals Saturday.Gambit Gaming defies the odds and advances to semifinalsAfter Cloud9 was upset by Renegades in the first game of Group B on Thursday, the North American team was forced to battle through the losers bracket of Group B to make its way to the semifinals. That road started with a matchup against the other North American team in the tournament, OpTic Gaming. While many would have expected a bit of a close series, it ended up being anything but. Jordan n0thing Gilbert helped Cloud9 make incredibly short work of OpTic, posting a 49/28 K/D and 97.3 ADR. The team won Game 1 on Overpass 16-8 and Game 2 on Dust 2 16-6. That set the team up with a match against Gambit Gaming. At first, Gambit didnt put up much more of a fight in its series against Cloud9 than OpTic did. Cloud9 seemingly picked up right where it left off with OpTic, taking Game 1 on Mirage by a lopsided score of 16-6. This time it was Timothy autimatic Ta coming up big with a 27/9 K/D to go along with a stellar 114.7 ADR. Game 2 was a completely different story, as it seemed as though some other force took over control of Gambit. It got off to a 13-2 start with Rustem mou Tlepov leading the way with his 16/5 K/D at the half. Gambit would then win the first three rounds of the second half to take the game 16-2. The final game on Dust 2 was the closest of the series, but it was Gambit that would come out victorious against all odds. The European team got out to an 11-4 lead at the half before wrapping up the 16-11 win. This time it was Dauren AdreN Kystaubayev who stepped up to lead the team to victory, putting together an impressive 24/14 K/D. Gambit is moving on to face GODSENT in the semifinals Saturday. Dexter Williams Jersey . P.A. Parenteau scored early in the third period to help the Avs edge Toronto 2-1 on Tuesday night. Cory Sarich also scored for Colorado (3-0-0), which is off to its best ever start. Dave Robinson Youth Jersey . "Thank you for the warm welcome," Beckham said on an 80-degree February morning. In this case, it was soccer weather. The sport moved a step closer to returning to South Florida on Wednesday, when Beckham confirmed he has exercised his option to purchase a Major League Soccer expansion franchise in Miami. http://www.shoptheofficialpackers.com/Elite-Elgton-Jenkins-Packers-Jersey/ . The Dane followed up his first European Tour title last weekend with eight birdies and just a single dropped shot on Thursday for a one-stroke advantage over South Africas Allan Versfeld and Portugals Ricardo Santos. LeBrun: Over the last 48 hours, hes taken in the home-and-home between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche with Jamie Benn and Matt Duchene being the obvious targets. Bart Starr Youth Jersey . A statement from the worlds top-ranked player says all checks "were satisfactory and showed positive evolution" regarding the injury, which contributed to his loss to Stanislas Wawrinka in the final in Melbourne. Sydney coach John Longmire faces tough decisions as he continues to reshape the AFL clubs list following a second grand final loss in three seasons.Longmire and his colleagues have done a tremendous job keeping the Swans competitive throughout his tenure, when the clubs streak of finals appearances has continued. The transition between grand final failures in 2014 and 2016 has been stark. Almost half of the team thumped by Hawthorn had been replaced by younger talent in Saturdays upset loss to Western Bulldogs.Unfortunately for Sydney it was the same result and co-captain Jarrad McVeigh and superstar Lance Franklin, a third of the way through an unprecedented $10 million deal, earned unwanted tags.No current player has tallied more AFL grand final losses than three, a mark Franklin and McVeigh share with Fremantle journeyman Zac Dawson and St Kildas Sean Dempster. It is also of course an envious position for players who have gone their whole careers without contesting a final, let alone a grand final.McVeigh, Longmire and chairman Andrew Pridham all spoke optimistically about the future at a sombre club function on Saturday night in Melbourne.Id rather have got here and things not work out than not get here at all, Longmire told the crowd. It doesnt in any way mean were not disappointed, were absolutely shattered. It will not stop us from trying to climb back to the top of the mountain again. I guarantee you come 8am Monday were going back to work to try and get better and get a step ahead.Longmire was a man of few words in his post-match press conference but later opened up more about a season of regeneration in wwhich seven players debuted.ddddddddddddOur younger kids came on in leaps and bounds and blew a real fresh air through the place, he told a crowd of more than 1000 fans.We always have and always will continue to try and be competitive every week, its part of our DNA. At the same time, looking to the future as well. The future might be just over the horizon and we need to keep working along those lines and get the balance in play. The expectation is Ben McGlynn and Tom Mitchell have played their last game for the club, with the former unlikely to be offered a new contract and the latter set to sign a lucrative deal with Hawthorn.Ted Richards retired this year, leaving McGlynn, McVeigh and Heath Grundy as the only Swans to have celebrated their 30th birthdays.Franklin, Kurt Tippett and Kieren Jack will all turn 30 next year.We have a list thats fantastic and so many young players coming through and a few guys unfortunate today to miss out.Theyll be better for it and well strive to go one better next year, McVeigh said at Saturdays function.Pridham agreed. The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart ... we will get stronger, he said. The Swans most pressing concern is Dan Hanneberys knee.Hannebery will have scans but is upbeat he didnt suffer a serious injury in the fourth quarter of a game that left the midfielder devastated ... frustrated and flat.It will burn for a while and its probably what will drive hopefully the group to get better, Hannebery said.
